Banja Kebbay


Banja was a fun and loving child who loved family, sports, and helping people who were less fortunate. He was a stellar student who earned many awards for outstanding academic performance as well as recognition for his contribution to sports and extracurricular activities. During his high school years, Banja was:

  • Vice President of the Minority Scholars Program 
  • Mentor to fourth-grade students at College Gardens Elementary School
  • A valued member of the Richard Montgomery High School football team

He graduated from Richard Montgomery High school in June 2021 and went to purse a business degree at NYU Stern School of Business. Banja had dreams of doing charitable work after graduating from NYU but unfortunately, he passed away. The Banja Foundation was created in his memory, so his dream could live on.
